Propeller Shaft Bearing System

RIVERTOUGH
Thordon RiverTough propeller shaft bearings operating in combination with nickel-chromium-boron hardened coating sleeves are specially formulated to provide superior service life in highly abrasive water conditions and have proven capable of lasting at least twice as long as rubber bearings.

COMPAC
Thordon COMPAC is a high-performance water-lubricated bearing system primarily for "blue water" operating conditions. Specially formulated with a low coefficient of friction to reduce starting friction.

SXL
Thordon SXL offers lower coefficient of friction for reduced starting torque and smoother operation at lower shaft RPM, higher resistance to third-party abrasive wear.
Seals

SEA THIGOR
The Thordon SeaThigor seal is a face-type mechanical seal for water-lubricated propeller shafts from 300mm (11.8") to 750mm (29.5") found in yachts, cruise ships, merchant vessels, and naval ships. SeaThigor uses a balanced design with optimal balance ratio that further improves operational stability when subjected to water pressure fluctuation in rough seas.

TG 100
The Thordon TG100 is a new mechanical seal specifically designed for shaft vessels from 86mm (3.375") to 305mm (12") operating in clean or abrasive-laden waters, including workboats, harbor tugs, offshore supply vessels, yachts, ferries, fishing boats, and self-propelled dredgers.
Deck Bearings

Thorplas
Ideal for replacing bronze and other non-metallic bearings in deck equipment applications. ThorPlas is self-lubricating, easy to machine, has long life.
